Bad Powerpoints

All of the powerpoints presented in class had something unique and funny about them; nonetheless, there were three powerpoints that stood out for me the most:
Belen's: Hers was probably my favorite one out of all of them. It didn't have many slides; however, they were all very successful. The slide I liked better than any other was the one with all of the animations, sounds, pictures, etc because, in my opinion, it was the one powerpoint that illustrated the best how people tend to overuse animations and such.
Mary Camp's: I liked how she really emphasized the use of bullets points in her presentation and how she mentioned how bad it can be when, once again, people use them much more than they really should.
Ryleigh's: One of the things she had on one of her slides was, "Not too much or too little," which I believe is be the best way to phrase how to do a powerpoint presentation. You don't want to have it be super simple to the point where it gets boring and pointless; yet, overdoing a powerpoint can also make it very distracting and hard to follow.

What makes a good powerpoint
1. Correct use of grammar and spelling
2. Appropiate use of color schemes, font size, etc.
3. Having bullets points that will serve as guides instead of just typing everything a person is going to say into the slides.
What makes a bad powerpoint
1. Too many animantions, sound effects, etc.
2. Too much information in the slides.
3. Bad use of color schemes and font size.
4. Incorrect spelling.

Gabriela, I really liked your PowerPoint, especially the backgrounds matching perfectly with the text. I also liked the different fonts you used in order to show not what to do.

Way to go on matching font color and background color. It made it difficult to read. Congrats.

Your presentation backgrounds were really pretty even though the fonts were VERY hard to read!
